What does Local Rank Grid check?

Each scan checks Google's mobile Local Finder and organic search results through DataForSEO. The report separates Local Finder listings, the Local Pack when present, and organic web results. Discovered businesses and domains are grouped across the captured results, including paid appearances when returned.

How many locations and keywords can I check?

Each grid has nine points around your saved business location, spaced 1 or 2 km apart. You can check up to three keywords, depending on your plan. A keyword check covers the nine points for that keyword.

Why do the results change across locations or runs?

Google results can vary with location, timing and other search context. Every scan is a snapshot using consistent mobile settings. Compare the same keyword, location and spacing across saved runs, and investigate recurring patterns rather than treating one result as a universal rank.

How does this help with competitor analysis?

The report groups businesses and domains that appear across the scan. Compare appearance counts, best rank and geographic coverage to identify competitors worth investigating. Directories and publishers may appear in organic results too. Repeated appearances show presence in the captured results; they do not explain why a business ranks or prove a share of the market.

Can I track progress and export results?

You can reopen saved runs to review rankings over time. Eligible plans include weekly checks and JSON exports containing scan details, per-keyword grids for Local Finder, Local Pack and organic results, and up to 100 discovered entities. Historical review currently means reopening individual runs; there is no automatic side-by-side comparison between dates.
